German retailer Peek & Cloppenburg has announced British fashion designer Stella McCartney as patron of its fashion talent award, Designer for Tomorrow, where she'll be involved in the award process from start to finish, reviewing all the applications prior to selecting her personal top ten.

This month she'll visit Berlin to view the finalists' collections, before deciding who will be named Designer for Tomorrow 2013 in July as part of an expert jury. McCartney commented 'I am delighted to offer my active support to up-and-coming talent in the fashion world and am excited about looking through all the submissions and the high level of potential that awaits us'.
